Community Citizenship Program |
BEST is also committed to community development and partnering with associations that contribute to the betterment of the communities in which we do business. BEST Service Pros’ Community Citizenship Program responds to the needs of our community and the world around us by working with charitable associations across Western Canada. As a company that was founded on family principles, we feel it is our duty to contribute to a sustainable community and work environment. For example, BEST Shredding's partnership with The Vancouver Food Bank Society helps raise non-perishable food and monetary donations through our "Shred for Hunger" program. The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society (GVFBS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food and related assistance to those in need. The GVFBS collects and distributes food for up to 25‚000 people weekly through 15 food depots and over 100 community agencies across the Lower Mainland. The same spirit that drives our "Shred for Hunger" program also drives our donation of reused boxes to Give and Gather. These boxes are used to help low income families move into new homes and apartments. Give and Gather provides home essentials to low income individuals and families and inventory essentials to front line agencies providing support to our community. |
BEST is proud to work with and be associated to the following charities that help our communities on a daily basis: |
